This was a great year for Eclectic Unions. This was the year of more than just weddings! I was honored to be a part of three wonderful baby welcoming / naming ceremonies.

My colleague Kim and her husband George welcomed their son Joey.

My dear friends Ben & Emily welcomed their daughter Sydney.
And my incredible wedding photographer Sarah Schulte and her husband John welcomed their daughter June.
And it was also a landmark year for weddings. Kicked off with my Offbeat Bride advertorial in late 2010, my ceremony writing services really took off this year! It was such a unique experience to work with so many amazing and creative couples, all over the country, to craft beautiful wedding ceremonies for their friends or family to officiate at.

Lexie & Alena were married in an aquarium, and had a water sharing ceremony!

Paul and Angie had a highly personalized tea unity ceremony, that drew on their own personal tea sharing ritual at home. (Photo courtesy of The Happy Couple)
And, on top of that, I also created and officiated at over one hundred weddings this year. One hundred weddings! When I started out as a Life-Cycle Celebrant in 2008, I never would have dreamed that I would be able to touch so many people’s lives and work with so many amazing couples and families.

A few photos of some of my awesome couples! Photos are from a variety of sources, please let me know if you’d like me to credit you.
Wishing all of you a very happy 2012. And to all of my couples getting married in 2012 – it’s almost your year! Can’t wait to celebrate with you!
xoxo

So exciting! I love that you did this, and can’t wait to be a part of another fantastic year for you!
