My goal is to create a wedding ceremony that is simply an extension and reflection of your relationship. You’re not going to get a ceremony script with your names filled in – I will work with you to build and write your ceremony. We’ll discuss your vision, the elements and rituals you’d like to include, we can go over readings, vows, the processional, every detail. You tell me what you absolutely need to include and what you’d prefer not to have.

Each ceremony I write is unique, and all fees are quoted on an individual basis.  I can give you a quote via email or over the phone – please contact me to obtain a quote!

The fees outlined here are for custom weddings, civil unions, commitment, and vow renewal ceremonies.  Fees for non-custom weddings and ceremony writing services are available upon request.

You will get a completely original, custom wedding ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple and is tailored to your specific vision and needs. You get to see the entire ceremony before hand, and have final approval of the script. I feel it is important to be upfront with my fees, and always quote a fee before scheduling a meeting.  My fees for custom ceremonies range from $700 to $1200, taking time, date, location, complexity, need for rehearsal, and a few other factors into account.

This price includes, but is not limited to:

o An original wedding ceremony, including your custom Love Story
o Unlimited email and phone consultations
o Research and resource materials
o Travel expenses
o Rehearsal or final consultation meeting (if requested)
o Full Script & Cue Sheets prior to the wedding, for your wedding party, musicians, wedding planner, etc
o Day of consulting with anyone involved with your ceremony
o Officiating on the day of
o Mailing expenses for the license
o A final digital copy

Yes, I travel! Destination Weddings will have an additional travel and accommodation fee.  Please contact me for details.

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to hold your date for any wedding, and due when we sign the contract.

We just got home last night and I have been dying to email you to thank you a million times over for creating such a beautiful ceremony. It was perfect! The day seems like a blur but the one thing I remember perfectly is the ceremony because it was so meaningful. Thank you for the time you put into crafting it to fit our needs and wishes. I hired an Elvis Impersonator as a surprise for Cas who had wanted to get married by Elvis in Vegas – and yet in reflecting on the wedding he and our guests all seem to forget the guy in the sparkly suit with swiveling hips and go straight for commenting on the ceremony. (related to this… I made Cas play the “what was your favorite part of our wedding” over the honeymoon and he put you and the slider bar from the cocktail hour at number one – this is perhaps that highest compliment he could give!)

I can’t thank you enough for making the most important part of our wedding be the part that always comes to mind when I think back to our day. You put me at ease, and it made walking in to that beautiful atrium so much less intimidating to know it was you and Cas down at the other end waiting for me. You made me feel so comfortable – it was like having a trusted friend there with us all the while.
